OUR
MINISTRIES
In any ministry, staying busy is the key to remaining connected. 'Church work' is secondary to a right relationship with God. But it's that right relationship that encourages believers to surround themselves with like-minded people of the body of Christ. Too that end, it's important to find your hands at work in ministry, occupying your time while you run this race. Getting involved with the various ministries of the church is a vital part to our walk with God.

Here at The Herald, there are many ministries where the true gifts of God and talents, can be used for the building of God's kingdom. It's been said for years that everything that the body of Christ needs, is actually IN the body. We only need to explore and give back to God, what He has so graciously given to us.

Let your gifts and talents flourish in God's kingdom. This is just a land, and we're pilgrims simply passing through, but we must work while it is day, for when night comes, no man can work!

Men's Ministry
Here at The Herald we pride ourselves in having a body of brothers who don't mind letting you know that they love the Lord. "Behold how good it is for Brethren to dwell together in unity", Psalms 133:1.

Young and 'seasoned' brothers alike, working together for common good, loving their respective families, loving God and the church, is key to exemplifying the model of manhood that God expects of every man.
"Oh that Men would praise the Lord ..." Psalms 107:15
Women's Ministry
Find your place in ministry, working with the Women's Department of The Herald. God has truly blessed The Herald with women of distinction who don't mind allowing God to use them to do His will.

Women have contributed much to the ministry of the Church throughout history. Definitely here at The Herald, the women have been a major cornerstone and foundation to the successes of the ministry.
A very integral part of the ministry, the Women's Department works diligently to help fulfill the mission of the church.

Music Ministry
A very critical part of the worship experience in any house of worship, is the music ministry. From choirs, to praise teams, to instrumentation, they all enhance our worship.

There are many forms of offering praise to God through music. Here at The Herald, we explore those options with God at the center. Being led by the Praise Leader or the choir director, making a joyful noise unto the Lord is what we do, encouraging the entire body of believers to join in.

Whether the hymns of old or contemporary gospel and christian music, the words of beautiful songs have led many to a fulfilling relationship with the Lord. let your voice be heard!!
Audio/Visual Ministry
Complete worship incorporates all aspects of the worship experience. Our goal is to enhance and bolster that experience through great sound and great video quality.
Using advanced technology for the uplifting of God's kingdom is the end goal.

The audio/visual ministry, comes together to provide superb in-house sound and video quality, as well as content for the Herald's online presence and social media family.
There are many who desire to attend, but can not. Their experience should be representative of what's experienced in house. God provides the technology and the tools, it's up to us to use them for His glory!

Herald House Community Center
The Herald House Community Center (HHCC), strives to meet the needs of the community, both spiritually and physically.
Unfortunate circumstances and calamity has no respect of person. To that end we endeavor to do what we can to assist when these issues hit the lives of our brothers and sisters within the community.

We have a team of volunteers that are here to carry out the will of God as stated in Hebrews 13:16; "... and don't forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God.
Usher Board / Ministry
One of the oldest auxiliaries in the church is the Usher Board/Ministry. We have a group of willing Ushers who take great pride in serving the people of God. For every service members and guests are met with smiles and open arms, offering greetings with the love of Christ, as members enter the doors.

Psalms 84:10 states, "I had rather be a door keeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
